My setup is in my sig im thinking maybe a vafc to correct this problem but i was saving for a hondata s100 to totaly get rid of the MSD boost timing master. I usualy do everything to my car myself but im stumped here and im not sure if i would be able to tune a vafc on my own. any help would be gratly appreciated

hahaha yeah my bad fellas i had just picked up my wife and new born baby earlier today when i made the original post. my problem is during heavy acceleration in any gear but 1st and 2nd between 1500-3000 the car breaks up, not to bad but a lil stuttery but as soon as you reach 3 grand it pulls nice and smooth. sorry again and thanks in advance

is your injector duty cycle set for 310's now? not sure how you have it tuned but could be dumping too much fuel from thinking its still stock injectors but i could be wrong.

It could be a couple of different things...
Do you have any equipment that you could use other then hand tools? (like a scan tool or something)

Starting off it might just be your spark plug wires... but I'm not sure if you replaced those with your ignition system upgrade. It might even be the aftermarket system screwing up for ya.

Could be a MAP, could be a TPS, could be your 02 sensors............... Get my drift?

^x2 on the o2 sensors. it is very likely that if the car isnt tuned for the 310cc injectors and was running rich therefore prematurly ruining your o2 sensors. i had an accord that was running a little rich from a cylinder that wasnt firing properly and the o2 sensor went bad in like a month... so honestly i would scan for codes

Wait... What?
sounds like a problem with your tune... I would reccomend having it professionally tuned for the simple reason that a tune is such an important part of the way an engine runs. Its just not worth the risk

thanks for the adv. i have an obd2 code scanner and the only codes i pull are the fuel trim code and running rich code i cant remember the numbers right now but i think there in the 70's like 72 and 70 ill double check again tho and i dont have a tune on it all lil tight on money right now. i really hope it is not an o2 sensor tho. and to the guy that said low vtec fluid i dont have vtec, and just so i have my thinking correct the vtec system is engaged hydraulicaly through engine oil so there is no such thing as vtec fluid.

LMAO!! the vtec fluid was a joke...he knew that. just like you should try making sure your antenna fluid is good...

its deffinately a tune problem and if your scan tool is not reading an o2 code yet than its more than likely not bad...so id get it tuned because running rich is not extremely dangerous like running lean but its also not good it will cause problems and like 1,wasting your fuel....2,leaving residue on valves or spark plugs...3,fuel fouling the spark plugs....4,it will run sluggish and break up like your saying because its drowning the cylinders out then in higher rpm where it need more fuel it seems to clear up...my opinion is in the high rpms its still running rich but better able to use the fuel.....getting it professionally tuned isnt cheap but its cheaper than another build...you will be glad u spent the money ....make lots more power way better throttle response, i assure you...the juice is worth the squeeze!!
