You have to remember one thing about getting HIDs, the higher the Kelvin rating you get, the less usable light output you will have on the road. some people say that 6000k really looks good, but it all depends on what kind of conditions you drive in. I have a friend that has 8000k on his eg and he can't see $#it when it snows or rains. 4300k is the best choice if you want the maximum usable light output, the higher the k rating doesn't mean its brighter, the temperature just changes hence the different colors you can get HIDs these days. like someone else suggested, read a lilttle about these things and you can learn something for yourself, did this myself coz i used to be in your position. my personal taste would 5000k w/ our oem headlights, just get one from our sponsor.
Sorry to piggyback off of this topic but I was interested in HIDs and Halos too. I kinda had an idea but dk if it's actually possible. I was wondering if you could actually wire your angel eyes on the outside to be with the parking light (with the bumper signals and taillights) and then have them turn off and the HIDs in the middle to turn on the normal setting? I thought it'd be kind of a middle where I could have both HIDs and Halos or angel eyes.
What are you even talking about? what do you mean by a normal setting? once you get halos, ex//the ones from ebay, theres only ONE way that you could hook them up. you splice the halos into the corner lights, or you don't hook up the halos at all. and you can't have a middle? or whatever you're talking about. once you turn on the parking lights (first turn on the light controller on your wheel) your parking lights will go on but not your headlights, the last turn will turn everything on, not to burn on you or anything but thats like common sense imo. do explain if you mean something else.
