spun main bearings. fuck

had a lower oil pressure reading, so i dropped my oil pan to see what was up. there were bronze shavings in the oil pickup, so i investigated further and found spun main bearings. crank is scarred, so going to at least need a new crank and bearings. im hoping i didnt sink a sleeve, but some ppl on honda tech think i did. wouldnt surprise me... i am quite possibly the unluckiest person on the planet. instead of having my car down for a million years, im going to try and swap in a cheap ls longblock so ill have a vehicle to drive while rebuilding the sleeved motor again (assuming the sleeves are fine).

i tore apart my lsvtec project motor and one of the rod bearings was spun now i have to get the crank micro polished and find a new rod it really sucks .

just frustrated. im going to get a stock motor and have a reliable car for a while. then do it again later; probably around christmas
