Looking for a Wideband

you cant just use the bosch sensor and plug it into the s300 i dont think. you still have to run it through a wideband. i am using a plx right now and on the plx there is an output to go to the ecu for wideband readouts. you can get a plx for 250 shipped all day long.

WOW, thats hideous! Are you trying to drown the piston or something? lol.

OH and ive never gotten in depth into self tuning but I have a acquaintance who works at a local shop and those guys swear by PLX products.
It's running right around 14.7:1 so it's really not running rich. It needs to be leaned out more though.
PLX uses Bosch sensors as well. Do you want a way to view the wideband readings in realtime as they occur AND datalog or do you just want to datalog wideband readings? Trying to read feedback from a laptop sitting in the passenger seat just isn't feasible.....or very safe lol

I datalog wideband so I can tune out some of the imperfections but I also like to be able to see it while driving to know what my a/f ratio's are doing and if they were to ever go out of whack I can get off the throttle and save my engine. A datalog doesn't help you much if there's already a hole your block lol
Looking at a laptop or a box doesn't really matter to me. You do have a point about being able to see them all the time, although it's usually pretty solid in N/A setups.

I thought you could hook the wideband up to the stock plug. I can read my a/f now with my hondata I just don't get a wide area to go off.

Well now i'm trying to figure out if I need the whole setup or can get away with just the o2 sensor.

Hey I'm bumping this thread. Am going to probably order a PLX M300. Anyone know any places that have good deals on them or anything else they recommend?
