well i got an amazing deal of them because the person had no idea wht they were so it was kind of a risk. They are RC 1000cc injectors Brand new. Ill try to sell them or trade them but if not theyll just have to do. As long as the tuner can fix the problem
i would just keep them...u know that you can always add fuel with the 1000cc, but if you max out the 440cc at one time or another...youre going to be wishing that u didnt sell them

When they squirt they will squirt the same. All you can control is the length of the squirt and how many times it pulses. So your going to slow down the injector pulse and duration. It's not as good because your not getting as consistent fuel delivery as you would with a smaller injector. This is why I always tell people to get an injector just big enough to handle what you need.

This is what I was talking about. Bigger is not better, people commonly think that this is the way to go but as I previously stated it's not.

sry aussie...didnt read ur statement before...but i think that he should get a set of injectors that if he wants to expand that it will be enough to cover his fuel demand...

Got a bit of a problem. My injectors arrived today and i thought they were 450cc but they are actually 1000cc injetors. If i cant return them and i have to keep them will they work or do I need to sell them???
I'd get rid of them. Smaller injectors have more precise spray patterns and less injector dead time making them more accurate. Getting properly sized injectors will make it easier to tune and it will also run better.

Just agreeing since some people tend to think that having a lot of head room is a good idea. If you only need 450cc worth of injector then just get some 550cc's to be on the safe side. No need to go overboard with headroom and forfeit accuracy and precision

i have 1000cc and daily driving it is fine. you should be able to swap them even for someone looking to upgrade. there are a bunch off ppl that had 550cc injectors and maxxed out and are now looking to go bigger. ask for like 50 bucks on top of the trade since yours are new and more expensive. also, using the 1000cc, you will need a resistor box since they are peak and hold.

i agree with aussie and my boy with the dsm ;)....get rid of the 1000cc injectors. WAYYYY too big. Yes they would work but your partial throttle and overall performance of the car will be much better with properly size injectors. I had 750cc injectors and they were way to big for my setup. Went down to 550 cc injectors and upped my rail pressure a little bit to compensate. This was a much better way to go :thumbs up

What all the smart people said ^^^^

especially the part about not trying to tune by your self for the first time because you will probably waste time and not eve have your car runing right at idle because it does not sound like you even have a base map to start with.
