battery light came on

i was wondering what would be the cause of my battery light coming on. is it because of bad ground it drives fine no problems with start up or driving. its just there

most likely the regulator on your alternator is going bad/gone bad.

if that's the case you're either frying your battery, or your running on just your battery. lol




I've had 2 alternators go out on hondas. They aren't the easiest thing to replace, so if you're not comfortable with taking shit apart, have it done... But like Kyle said, get it checked out.

most likely the regulator on your alternator is going bad/gone bad.
The first time my alternator went out it was the regulator that gave out. So my alternator was churning 17volts to the battery. Everything will run fine for a little while but it will kill your battery quickly due to the abuse of overcharging. If the alternator itself is going out it will be pumping low voltage and not recharging enough which you will start to notice through dimming of the lights and such
