Before i get myself into alot of troubles, i would like to know if the jdm conversion front end has alot of issues (electrical issues, uneven headlight, etc.)? If so, i rather not do it and save some headaches along the way. Is it worth it? or should i save my money and spent it on other things like a turbo setup? I just want to hear, from the peeps that has one, what types of problems will i be getting into...

to be honest its all about preference, if you like the ITR front then go for it. all electrical is fine there are no problems but, the headlights you need to recalebrate. on a USDM integra you can see it doing the "Stair step effect" where the driver side is lower than the passenger side. this is because you dont want to blind oncoming traffic, but you want to also see the street signs on the passenger side. Well since its a japanese car, and they are all right hand drive, everything is switched. so you just need to re do the headlights or retro fit S2k HIDs which look very nice IMO

Potential Issues:

1) There are HID and non-HID headlights. In some states you will not pass inspection with HIDs in a car that did not come with them from the factory.

2) Welding...you WILL need to hack up your old radiator support and weld in the JDM one. Are you comfortable with this?

3) Wiring OEM fogs/sidemarkers...there are many guides spread throughout T-I and H-T for how to wire them up.

4) Parts not lining up correctly/dented parts...these parts come from Japan and often sit on boats, trucks or in warehouses for a good amount of time. Sometimes the parts will be mixed up and won't all come from the same car. You run the risk of not having everything line up perfectly....its just like buying a JDM engine....you really don't know what you're getting until it arrives. I'd buy from a reputable company such as PasswordJDM.

5) Hood cable...you'll have to snatch up a cable from a Gen2 Integra, these work well with the JDM kit. You'll have to install that as well.

Basically its not rocket science and shouldn't place you at risk for major issues. Your best bet is to find a shop that can do it for you. Prices for the install range from $1500-4000. What state are you in, some people could probably recommend some shops. If your not comfortable with doing it all yourself, you can always remove the OEM front end and have a shop just install the new parts to keep labor a little lower.

are you planning on getting the whole front clip or just the fenders hood bumper and such? it seems like more work but with the front clip everything ends up cleaner because you dont have to cut a buncha small things. u cut the whole front end off and weld the new one on. basically.

well put.. This front end swap isnt hard at all.. just takes time.. Research who you want to have install it.. some shops may do it cheaper, but in the end you get what you pay for.
