1st run ever

92 bubble stock ls swap with boltons, azenis rt615, and a gutted rear.....

my fuckups for my first time
1 was nervouse my first time so bogged off the line and hit rev limitor going to 3rd geer
2 forgot to lower tire preasure in the front
3 my dum ass filled the tank before the 2 hour drive to the track, so i was running on a full tank!

r/t 1.005 <ugghhhh
60' 2.423
1/4 15.483
mph 90.1

raced against a new 350z that ran a 14.87 << what a disapointment

oh and for the results on the second run well my reaction time was quicker .665 but my clutch went going into third... stuck in neutral all in all i had 1 run and i left with a smile on cause it was fun

your reaction time has nothing to do with your 1/4 mile time, so dont sweat that. your 60' is pretty mediocre for a first timer. you should be able to drop that to a high 2.1 or so on azenis tires. do you know how to preload? and why arent you redling every gear?

i know about the reaction time, im just saying if it was good i would have had the win over the Z (bad driver i guess) i did preload and i went pass redline till fuel cutoff then shifted quickly <thats what i ment

hitting the fuel really slows you down. try shifting before you hit it next time. what rpm did you launch from? most times on gsr's i dump around 4900-5200 on street tires when i preload

Ricky is just that good.

With some better runs you should have no problem braking into the mid 14s with that setup Itrain.
