lookie here noobie, no im just kidding. i think these guys are saying is : itr front lip, side skirts, itr wing or gsr wing, rims, drop, if you wanna go through the trouble and not have the circle head lights do a jdm front end conversion, and whatever performance mods you want. if you want an under the radar exhaust look at the apexi world sport 2, nice intake for cheap- aem ram air, header is always a good choice, short shifter, and that is really about it for the list of BASIC mods, but i mean be original and do what YOU want. and dont skimp- take your time to find a nice GSR it will make life easier as far as GO FAST. you should find a nice one for about 5-7. then when you get the car, let us know and well give you more specs. hope my book is helpful

haha alright thanks man. and with the exhaust i dont really know that much about them besides like a catback exhaust and my friend bought this real shitty integra im not sure what year it is maybe a 97?? but he got an exhaust on his car and it is LOUD like it doesnt sound good at all and i dont want that. i want an exhaust that will make my car sound nice not loud so it would be nice if you guys could point me in the right direction for that : ] but ill look up that exhaust

a good resource is youtube actually, they have people recording their exhaust sounds. thats what im going to use if i buy one. but if you want it to sound mean with stock intake, take off the top of the air box and remove both resonators. MEAN AS HELL!

Check out "the Cleanest Integras" thread on this site and you should get a good idea of what clean
integras are, and just dont get anything cheap for your exhaust get something everyone has been recommending like APEXi, greddy, skunk2, ext. if you have 10 grand it should be no prob getting good parts
like that but I would recommend upgrading your suspension first then wheels and so on...

well i have 10,000 for my car and then what ever is left over im gonna put into the car. but do you guys suggest i upgrade the suspension first? and then wheels and then exhaust? and how much does it cost to upgrade the suspenison of a car?

It depends on the brand of suspensions/type.

yeah the best thing to do is upgrade your suspension but there is an endless amount of stuff you can do to
upgrade your suspension it just depends on how much you want to put in it if you just want somethin simple then you can just get some adjustable springs so you can lower the car you can get some good springs like Skunk2, tein, Eibach, ect. or you can go crazy with it and you can end up spending more then what you paid for the car just on suspension but it doesn't seem like your into all that you would prob be good with some springs, wheels, and if you want to upgrade your exhaust after that but it would be better to just learn more about your car and how it works so you would be able to make your own choices... anyways goodluck

depends on your set up. weaksauce.org has them ground controls with koni yellow shocks for like 600$ i think. i highly recomend getting a stock car and messing around with it yourself. since you are getting into the "scene" it will help you to get to know what everything is. i was in your position a while back and thats how you learn, talk cars and work on them. good luck!

haha oh wow 600? i was thinking it was gonna cost 1,000+ but thats good news : D and i really want to know a lot about cars and it kinda sucks cuz my dad has absolutley no idea what hes talkign about when it comes to cars so its not like he can really help me with anything. yeah but the downside of getting an all stock car is that it will cost more money to buy everything new then buying a car that already has everything or some of the stuff i want on it. but id like to buy an all stock car and do everything myself but money is a factor in that

^ for that i suggest getting a cheap stock one in my area you can get one for about. on weaksauce its 600 for function and form, or 900ish i did the math in my head...hehe for ground control sleaved coils with koni yellow shocks. this is a good set up for any car if you are doing mostly daily driving and a little racing every now and again. I highly recomend them, although i dont have them i have driven a car with them and they are the best set up ive ever felt and ive driven with ebay coils and skunk2 coils and stock. But dont worry about your dad having no experience, thats what the haynes manual is for! get that book ASAP! and a good set of metric wrenches and ratchets. that will go along way. But i think for what you are looking for you can probably do it pretty cheap if you get a 4000$ ls or a 6000 GS-R thats alot of money to play around with, for a thousand you can have lowering gear and intake, another 1000 will get you a Mugen twin loop exhaust. you have alot of money to play around with. I suggest looking for parts at weaksauce.org or passwordjdm.com or jdmland.com all good resources for you!

Just like the others said, research, get the car, then let the mods begin! If I were to turn my DB8 into a show car, I'd get some baller wheels with a fat lip like the Work Equip 03 and Super Sexy Slam that bitch! All in all, keep it clean and simple.
