DIY LEDs for Stock Cluster

Looks good. but id rather just have the whole thing light up brighter.

I want some 194 bulbs for the speedometer, tach and the whole thing instead of just the little warning lights.

I know you can get 194bulbs at walmart/autozone/etc, but there not bright enough...anyone suggest on were i can get some bright ones!? haha.

But good job. At least its different. I saw this thread on TI too :eek:

the indicators r pretty bright but the speedo and stuff arent....i like it alot...idk...just want sumthing different...tired of the usual lol.....the other lights r bright but if u think about it...they arent on all the time and when sumthing happens now it will really catch my attention! hehe

i like the idea! i kind of want to try it out myself
honestly not hard and doesnt cost much at all lol.....thats why i like it....quick, cheap way to make the car alittle more personal...

i also like that cluster now, but have to say not a fan of the main guages tach speedo etc, i just bought blue 194 bulbs today, they are victor brand and i will be installing them over the weekend and will take some pics and get them up on the site to compare colours, they definately look better than the cheap ass ebay indiglo white face pieces o shat

also i am from canada so i dont know where nost of you can get these but they do make colour changing 194 bulbs i believe they are call tri lights.............i found them at canadian tire but i think that autozone is an affiliate store that may also carry them for you boys in the states.

looks like a friggin space ship!!! i replaced my bulbs with red ones but left the other lights stock.. i might change all of them to red tho.. not sure yet.. good DIY write up tho..


BTW.. only took me all of 10 minutes to change mine..
