i picked up the omni power full coilovers last week and slammed my 2 dr 96GSR...now my friend just bought a completely stock 97 GSR and he is having trouble on choosing between the favored omnipower full coilovers or the legendary koni/ground control combo...i tried to give him my opinion but he just wont listen..he wants to hear from you guys before he sets his mind on which set up he wants...he wants to do it right the first time i guess...he says its gonna be used for dd and weekend racing at the Q or 905...any imput is appreciated...

i have a friend who swears by omni.. he has a gsr eg that he strictly uses on the track and he has the basic omni's, with the non adjustable shocks. theres not many people i know that necessarily like them, but i love them. great stuff man.

I do with the omni power full coilover. They have seperate height and preload adjustments so when you lower the car it doesn't compromise suspension travel near as much and also is easier on the struts themselves.

The only benefit of the GC/Koni deal is that people on a tight budget who don't have the money to drop all at once can piece that together over time

more adjustments to fine tune the susupension and the the preload/ride height is a definate plus

to make things easier on the koni/gc's, you could always get the extended tophats so they'd help with the shocks stay closer to 'full extended'
