i did my header shield semigloss black and reinstalled it after i cleaned my bay...2wks before my teg was stolen matter fact...i was satisfied w/ my bay...had the ITR JDM VC and all...:(

If you use a good degreaser and let it set a little while before you rinse, you won't realy need to use a high pressure washer.

i have always tried degreaser (even the gel kind) and a brush to clean the bay, but today i sprayed the block and tranny with degreaser then used a powerwasher and WOW, so much cleaner than even 2 hrs of trying to scrub. i def recommend a powerwasher if you have one available.

havent tried it on the teg yet

but my miata had oil spilled all over(forgot to cap it when filling:/) and warmed up the engine sprayed some simple green on it let it sit a little hosed it off and it looked good. so try it?
