hey guys i was wondering if anyone had any experience with the carbon fiber power chamber intake...i've only found it on passwordjdm.com so i'm guessing its their part...but is it a good buy or not?

they're nice. hard to believe they make any more power than a normal SRI but whatever, everyone and their mother has one.

intake is an intake. buy a cheap ebay one and use a good filter; then tap it for nitrous and run 75 wet shot.

i think its awesome.. picked mine up for 100 bucks so i couldnt pass that up!!

much louder than my exhaust at WOT

Another thing I noticed about the whale penis is that it has a 3" opening, which 95% of tegs have a 2 1/2" opening on the tb. Idk, seems like overkill.

They're pretty good. BTW, the original carbon fiber intake came from J's Racing, which Password: JDM copied.

if you look.. its pretty much a straight shot from the air filter to the manifold.. if that helps any.. instead of having bends and junk..

thanks for the info....right now i have some shit ass intake on my car which the previous owner installed...i was just asking around cuz i had never actually seen the "whale penis" on a car before lol...i seen on pwjdm that it requires a type-r intake manifold to work..would that be just the same as any aftermarket IM like a skunk2 or something in that nature? i'm just getting back into motors and i'm just trying to get all the info i can.
