Tuning an LS motor with a V-afc controller

Do yourself a favor, take that thing out of your car and throw it in the garbage.

Is it a V-afc or a S-afc? You could do minimal tuning with a s-afc, but you would still need a wideband and or a dyno.

the vtec controller is hooked up and running pretty good.My friend street tuned it for me and we took the car to the track and it ran 15.5.The car is a 98 ls with headers intake and exhaust. Before we used the vtec controller the car ran 15.7.The only thing that you could tune is only the air flow and fuel for a ls motor. The vtec controller is just temporary we just wanted to see if you could run better time with it.

I don't think that your tuning helped increase your time. With the mods you have your stock tune is fine. You can lean it out to try and get more hp but it would do more harm than good.
