how much boost were you making? I doubt you could go past 1.6 bar even with the upgraded top mount. Im not saying your full of shit, but a lot of what you said isnt quite adding up. With that size turbo you should have been running a nice front mount, maybe even used meth injection.

every one knows that stis are fast from a launch but every one also knows they are slow at free way speed the all wheel drive slows them down the only thing its good for is offroading and launching from a stop where they are untouchable dont get me wrong though i love those cars they are just big and heavy and trying to get all that wheight to move on a roll makes them really slow the sti was stock with exhaust i could tell.

i had the turbo on for about a week then i took it off there you go are you all happy gezzzz it was just too much for the stock engine and i had to cut boost way back because i was running 16psi on my stock turbo.

That plus he had a GT35R on his WRX with a FMIC. Then he sold that for this. When a GT35 kit costs around 3.5-4k just for turbo, intake, dp, up-pipe. If you can afford that a used GSR to DD is nothing.

They weigh 3070lbs roughly, a integra is around 2600lbs, a new GTI is 3300lbs, and a RSX is 2800lbs.

They are FAR from heavy. Hell they are AWD and competitive in weight with FWD cars, the lightest platform of them all. Even in the corners a FWD will exibit more understeer than a AWD car will. You must have had something up with your WRX. You even had sway bars and you still say that (what size btw?). Hell, mine is stock suspension for the most part at 100k and I KNOW its quicker than my teg in the corners and the teg had a fair amount of suspension work on it. A HELL of alot better tires too, haha, I hate my tires

oh and to put it in perspective



A stock WRX will beat a stock 2008 Civic SI even from a roll. Now a new SI will beat a RSX, a RSX will beat a GSR. Finally a STI will beat up a WRX.

See what I mean. All stock its not even close! A GSR is way down the pecking order from a STI, even from a roll
