K24A2 Mounts

ok I almost bought a K24A2 today and I told the guy to hold it for me intil I did research. the K24A2 is a tall ass engine and I'm not sure about the clearance on a jdm FEC, now even if the engine does fit, will hasport 94-01 Intera K series mounts work with a K24A2 or am I coing to be custom fabing a lot of shit?

so tranny mounts, engine mounts, can I get this engine in without too much custom fab work? I really don't want to hurt the hood and once the motor is built I'm going ITB so let me know guys, you have been doing Hondas for longer than me, I think.

I'm pretty sure the Hasport or Hybrid Racing mounts will work. Hybrid racing is a member on this site so you could check out sponsor section.

How much is the K24? Is it a longblock, shortblock, engine swap incl. tranny?

it's for 2300 and comes with the 6 speed tsx tranny, it's a longblock. I recomend if you are ever going to swap use a japanese engine exchange shop not online. this engine and tranny has 24,000 miles on it. it's an 06. going either k20a2 or K20A3 head.

The K24a2 is a great option, think of it as a rsx K20a2 just with more torque. the k24 does sit a little higher than the k20 but clearance issues really aren't that bad.

Also, we are having a special right now on our New Gen. 2 mounts. they are normally $550, we have them for sale at $499. and when you get the mounts you can get the wire harness for $199 which is normally $350.
we sell all the parts needed to complete the swap.

You can also get them powder coated whatever color you want.

If I ever start a K build I'd get most my stuff from Hybrid. Customer service A+!

Great so no clearance problems!!! yeah hasport is definitely trusted by me. Great B series mounts. I am really excited about the K build. just bought it and the project has been set in motion. thanks guys for the info.

My brother has a K20 in his EM1, with the Hasports, they look okay. Very stiff the entire car is like a race car it shakes so much.
