My integra makes a rattling noise when i rev around 3400 rpm but when i rev over about 4000 rpm it goes away, anyone have an idea what it might be?

Exhaust heatshields. Almost every Integra has that annoying noise. Try tightening all the bolts on all the heatshields. I just took all of mine off though. It won't hurt anything

My didn't do it till I put on my RS*R as well. I tried tightening all of them but ended up taking everyone of those damn things off though because I couldn't figure out which one was doing it

It's normal. Don't worry about it.

Yep, it's a really common problem with Integra's. Should have been a recall item if you ask me, but it doesn't affect the safety of the vehicle.

My Si does the same shit. I hate it, however there is some rust forming on the midpipe. So hopefully it rusts through and then I can get an Ex-Mag.

I actually miss having that rattling sound. Warned the drivers around me that I have VTEC.

Mine is around 2500rpms, so I hear it more during normal driving. Everytime I shift I hear that shit.

yah mine does the same thing, but that's cuz the guy who had the car before me tried to build his own exhaust from crap parts lol. The guys above me are probably right tho, the heat shield is most likely the culprit, I'm just throwing out another possibility.
