ahh...not that much money. Worst thing that happens is a sleeve cracks. It's an ls block, they're a dime a dozen.
then you need a new set of pistons bearings mossibly rod bushings and yada yada yada.

yuo wouldnt go for 10s on stock sleeves lol

do it right or do it twice:D

pistons 300 bucks, bearings 100 bucks, block 100 bucks, still cheaper than 1000 sleeves on an ls.

Anyways my point wasn't that you shouldn't sleeve it, it was that the stock sleeves will hold up for a good amount of power.

agreed most people underestimate the power stock sleeves can hold with a good tune.


but :lol: 300 pistons? and its only cheaper the first time lol

and labor for building might also be a factor.

any who outta curiousity(sp) how much power can the MS3 block handle?

From what I hear, excuse my French, but a whole fucking lot.:)

All the internals are forged, plus with the direct injection it makes fueling it cake.
