lol, nah man... That's how I started out! I was using a point and shoot taking pictures of my friends cars.

Then one day I took my mom's film slr and started taking pictures of random shit. Seriously. Anything that you look at and thing "that's pretty" or "that looks really cool!" take a picture of! If you have an eye for shots, you can do them. Obviously you have an eye, just start taking pictures of more stuff! Before this summer all I took pictures of were cars. Now my friends almost have to bribe me to take pictures of their cars.

I've only been seriously shooting for about a year now..

The best advice I ever received is do what you want with the picture, and run with it. Photography is Art. I'll show you what I see in the best way I can.


May 18th is "International Photograph Your Day Day". I'll be running around with this girl and 2 cameras all day. I suggest you do the same. Having a digital slr gives you NO reason not to explore and try different settings. Take 40 shots of the same thing if you have to, but just play with the settings. You'll be amazed at what comes out. :thumbs up

I took these with a cheap ass $100 camera of my truck and of a couple bikes. I just bought a Nikon D40 and an Integra so new pics will be coming soon.

Yeah I just haven't had to change to try it yet. My friend is going to bring with his SRT-4 over so I can play :). Thanks for the explaination though, I have been trying to learn as much as possible.
