ls/vtec ecu

with wat ever head i decide to go with i would have to buy the ecu for it rite?

or can i chip my ecu and dyno tune my regular ls ecu and also just buy a vtec controller to control the vtec is that possible?would it work

You'll need to get a p72 ecu or p28 ecu if you go vtec.

Actually you can modify a non-vtec ecu to control vtec.

But, generally speaking, any vtec ecu would control any vtec motor.

is there a reason why all the ecu's are obd 1 and not obd 2 phearable.net only sell obd 1 ecu s chipped is there a reason why there isnt any obd 2 ecu s chipped

Hondata only works with OBD1 ECU's (except K-Pro). Most companies that use tunable chips in the ECU use OBD1. It is easier and more tuner friendly. All you need is an OBD1 ECU and jumper harness to make it work on an OBD2 car
