P28 Ecu Question

Ok so I have an obd2 gsr engine and I want to convert it to obd1 using a virgin p28 ecu.Is it direct plug and play using the harness which I also have or do I have to go get it chipped in order for it to run right with the dohc engine? Thank's in advance

First you need to get a obd2 to obd1 wiring harness conversion which shouldn't be more than $150 then you need to get the p28 ecu chipped and reprogramed to run for DOHC instead of SOHC.

j-k-tuning.com has the conversion harness for $85 annd they also sell chipped and tuned ECUs, chipped and tuned p28 is $155 and you let them know what ur set up is and what you want and they do it all for you.

yea seen them before but I'ma have a buddy of mine chip my ecu.
