Thought it was about time I made one of these so here it is my 1990 DA9 I bought the car stock 3 months ago for $1500 I already put a lot of work into it and plan on putting more. This thread will be UPDATED all the time! When ever I get something new or install something. My plans are to try to at least buy something new for the car every other week.

Here’s the car when I first bought it

Ordered a new skunk2 exhaust


Getting ready for paint


Finished paint pearl white




The exhaust is on along with a DC-Sport 1 piece header and hollow cat


Got some SI rims and lowered it


I also installed a b16 tranny and an ACT Stage 2 pressure plate, ACT Stage 3 clutch, and a 7.52lbs Flywheel. I don’t have any pics of that.

The plans for the car is to fully build the internals of my ls and have the car running 12s maybe 11s also plan on doing some interior and exterior work to the car to. Let me know what you think.

O.k. the b16 head I got doesn't have a vaulve cover so I've been searching for some I came across 2 I really like but can't decide what to get I prob won't be getting this for another 2 or 3 weeks but it doesn't hurt to start looking :D

put your celica seats in yet? buddy of mine got them in a ek9 they sit real low

get the real deal. the mugen looks good, but its not real and if the mugen part wears off due to cheapness, then you really start to look cheap. + i dont think mugen made them in red. just get the type r one from honda. seems like a fair price.

Yea 7lbs is light I got it for nothing thought when I finish my build and turbo the car I'm going to switch to a ACT 12lbs I'm afraid if I turbo it the 7lbs flywheel would break.

We'll new uptade all ready I just bought a GSR Water Pump & GSR Timing Belt to hel move my ls/vtec build along a little quicker. I'll get pics of it when ever it gets here.

I'm planning to get the ACT Streetlite flywheel too.
