cool but are you sure the srt was on full boost for 440 racing the 260 civic. if so how close it was does not seem right a 440 h srt shoulf at the very least be low 12s where a 260hp civic would around high 12s. but looks like fun none the less. rock on

the guy driving the srt4 granny shift like crazy. he takes his time. the car is too quick for him. if me or anyone else were to drive the car, it would have put alot more legnths on the civic.

I think everyone has done it before. It's just a matter of time for the more intelligent to realize the dangers and stupidity of it and get out of before its to late.

I just find it funny the OP was complaining about the scene while he go's and promotes this kind of crap that is the ultimate reason the scene is horrible, With street racing you got these idiots out there killing themselves and others in return makes the general public look at us like we're criminals. If it wasnt for street racers the police wouldnt be harrassing everyone with a modified import.

Keep it safe and fun. Go to the track.

both local tracks are under water right now...and when your out with a few quick cars, its bound to happen. everyone either does it or has done it.

Not everyone does it. I know alot of people who have quicker cars (IE: Evos, STIs, 5.0s etc...) and they never race them on the street. It's bound to happen only with the immature. I was 16 when i last street raced and fortunately I learned how ignorant it was before it was to late.

there is a right and wrong way to street race.

and the racing seen is fairly big in the midwest because we dont have the car nazis' pulling us over and hunting us down for a lowerd car lol

Well I have to agree, I used to street race alot back in the days. I was at the street racing scene every weekend it was fun, never saw an accident happen due to street racing but then it got out of control and its not so much the street racers its friends who go watch + drink that start doing stupid stuff and thats when the problems start. I don't go anymore but if u hit me up on the highway at 1am trust me a race will happen even tho I know its dangerous but thats what makes it fun.

Actaully...a 440hp srt4 should be a mid-high 11sec car. Theres a guy here with 414hp srt who ran a 11.6 on street slicks
