I'm scared of getting a Honda

well never owned a honda im more of a nissan person but im planning and getting a teg LS 4door non vtec just for looks but im kind of scard to get 1 causes they get stolen alot and i dont hav a proper place to park it yet its going to be on the street outside my appartment. any good security system that can help protec it i was planning on getting a quick relesses steering wheel and removeing the computer takeing out a couple fuse and :twisted:loosen the lugs on the wheels but i might for get :lol: but im still getting a teg or a sentra ser but i dont want to work so hard for something and then go outside and just see the spot where it was i now that feeling is very f UP and make a quick relesses gas peddal lol are just take the hold fuse box in the house. i will just take the whole car in the house i now alot of people with honda who are scard to leve there car out side at night

get a baddass alarm. don't have some idiot at bestbuy install it cause it'll be like mine. it stopped working..and any alarm that has any wires comming into your engine bay is a bad install....my power to my alrarm goes STRIAGHT into the engine bay and just connects to the battery.

get a kill switch. quick release steering wheel, a gps system if you'd like and take your ecu out each night. get them hooks for your wheels and 4 sets of lug nuts. and DON"T lose the key.

mm...of course, you could also just get full coverage on your car and say 'fuck it" and play with luck. <--i tend to do that.

hate to say it but i wouldnt do it if its gonna be on the street unless u have $ for a pageralarm and ravelco and mabye lo jack

my security setup is pretty good right now but i plan on adding a bit more to it..

2way alarm
fuel cutoff
removable steering wheel (w/hub lock)
autolock (clutch/brake lock)
4-door rear door handles (no key hole in handles)
rs interior door handles (no switch for power locks)

Where do you live? Maybe your all worried for no reason. I live in N.H. so I'm not real worried about my car disappearing from my driveway, just maybe getting spit on by a hater, unless I take it to the mall/movie theatre/downtown area in a big city.

btw, all LS's are non VTEC. Saying your getting an LS non VTEC is a double negative, lol. Not being condescending, just want to make sure you know that all LS'a are non VTEC, you being new to Honda's. Only the GSR and Type R have VTEC stock.
