question about hi flow CATS

And test pipes IMO arent worth it. But dont take my word i do not have first hand experience..im just relaying to you what others on this site have told me. High flow cats flow if not as well, almost as well as test/race pipes. Whatever you wanna call it, either way the trade-off(smell, illegalness) of test pipes arent worth it. Just pick up a nice high-flow cat. Magnaflow, Hytech, idk couple others make great cats.

which means more hp
but its not going to to make that much of difference unless
your going to boost your car

Actually a number of companies manfuactor catalytic converters, BUT only a HANDFUL of them are actually EPA certified. And then only a handful of THOSE are CARB approved! I think that if youre going to run a cat, it may as well be legal right?

i had a dummy cat. It was a stock cat but was gutted for airflow. I heard that too much air like that can cost you power. Someone said too much airflow and you gotta have some backpressure peeps.
