Another XRS Kill

I first want to say that I do not condone street racing in any way shape or form and that Id like to claim that I am against it, but I did it today because the fucker was asking for it:lol:.

I pull up first in line at a red traffic light next to a white Corolla XRS with VA tags. Im changing the playlist on my iPod minding my business when the dude starts revving like a mad man and I look over and hes staring at me and nods at me like egging me on. Long story short, light turns green and we both squeel away. I was about half a length ahead by 8100rpm in 1st gear:twisted:. then in 2nd I pulled further so his front bumper is even with my rear, and I walked him steadily through 3rd, 4th allll the way through the next green light and to the next light which was red but I had to bust a right there.

He must have thought I was an LS:roll: till he was staring at the DOHC VTEC badge:suprise:

Too bad im not stock he might have beat me. Whats the redline on one of those? It uses Toyota's 1.8VVTL-i right? 6 or 5 speed?

i dont understand what is so great about these toyotas where you guys live. here in texas the only toyotas that are worth a damn are supras.
nice kill dude but seriously if some douche bag in a corolla pulled up to me revvin i would just laugh and not waste my gas. its to expensive these days lol.

If I didnt see the XRS badge I would do the same, laugh in his face but you know, I had to show him that Honda>Toyota

And an XRS is a Corolla with the S styling kit but instead of the regular motor its got the Celica GT-S 180hp engine. But I dont know if the gearing is the same. Basically, its been said that XRS Corollas can eek out stock GS-R's to 60mph and through the quarter.

Come on man if it was a regular Corolla and I only walked him then that would be sad on my part. I would SMOKE a regular Corolla. An LS would SMOKE a regular Corolla, but not an XRS.

instead of aiming to beat GSX's and stock GT mustangs.

we should aim for modified supras, and 500 hp mustangs, f1 cars, and hyabusa's


come on clubintegra, we need some 10, and 9 second tegs.

A Corolla XRS and GSR are a pretty good race stock for stock. The GSR will beat it with equal drivers though, but it's not by alot

agreed. my stock GSR 4dr with just a header kept up side by side with an XRS until almost the end of 4th gear and he got me by a bumper. if it was a LS, it would have been smoked by the XRS.

Corollas are such girl cars! The bottom seat cushion is SO short and the reach to the pedals is also short. Its like the car was tailor made for people of short statue..or GIRLS.
