So I take my usual route home today and what's this behind me and closing in fast? Why it's a black 99/00 si. I figured I had no real other option but to catch up to him as he passed me. I hit full throttle in fith and was amazed to see that I caught up with little trouble. Now he knows I'm serious so after a quick downshift he tries to take off. Well I'm still in 5th and he can't pull away no matter what. I was so damn pleased at my mystery engine! So then I thought "hey, what happens when I downshift??" So without delay I popped that bitch to a quick 3rd than 4rth and I was out when I hit fifth. I probably was about four cars in front of him before I noticed he wasn't there. Not to mention I was going way too fast, about 150kmH. I had a 00 si and know they are pretty quick too so I felt okay. The big treat was coming up in 5th.

ok so you say KPH.. am i safe to assume you're in Canada? was this an Canadian Si(US EX)? or a US Si(Canadian SiR)?

i bet it was fun :D

uh, i'm in virgin nia , or virginia as the locals say. my cluster is in KPH. I hope it was an US Si otherwise I feel bad for that guy... Wait I still feel bad for that guy instead of pullies he bought hor rible old looking altezza taillights. Course he probably thinks I was a run of the mill base integra (I have no logos on my car). RUNNin cali style sleeper!

My DB8's pretty sleeper too. Why didn't you downshit into 3rd? Would've made the kill much easier in a shorter amount of time.
