Hey everyone, just thought i would introduce myself, Just purchased an 01 Teg SE today, still finalizing some everything, should take ownership this week.

I've been driving an EG hatch for the past 3 years, and after throwing all sorts of money into it, only to have the head gasket blow on me, i decided to move on... and since i've wanted a teg for the past 14 years i finally got one.

Thanks, first on the agenda is to to install a retrofit, im' debating on doing a Bixenon setup and use the factory high beams as fog lights, or a quad high beam setup...

and of course to disconnect the motor for the power antenna haha.

Why not just get an aftermarket HID kit?

Cause in my books Retro > kit i've had both in my eg, and the retro blows the kit out of the water any day of the week.

I've seen kits in teg's and the retro still out does them

That's understandable. Props for putting in the hard work to go retro. You should try getting TSX projectors.

Right now i have a set of Audi A6 bixenon projectors, from my retro i had in the eg. if i scrounge up some spare cash i'm gonna get some S2K projectors and retro with those, but if i can't i'll stick with the A6's. they are pretty good

as for the wheels i'm not quite sure, they are OEM's i know that much, they came on some Teg's and Del sol's here

True retros look better because the projector is meant for a HID. halogen projectors set the beam odd. HID projectors give that fine line for a beam and set off the color better
