The aspect ratio and diameter are the same, but the widths are different. 215s are wider than 205s.can anyone tell me what the difference between 215/45-16 and 205/45/16 is ? or link me to information regarding...

it's in mm's.
Width / sidewall height / rim size

Yes, wider is better. But I would recommend going with the 205/45/16. The specs will be closer to stock and you'll have more choices of tires to pick from. You can still go with the 215s, but you'll be limited to only a few kinds of tires to choose from. The 98 Spec and up Type R came with 215/45/16.oo the 205 and 215 = width. cool. is wider better ? mmm.. (no homo lol)

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Just go with the 205s then. What kind of tires are you planning to get? All-season or summer?well i dont that ugly tire noise because of low profile... so since 205 is closer to stock...... that might be better? you know what im talking about right ?
