I remember doing a remote start in one of those back in like 2002. Taking apart that dashboard was a ridiculous pain in the ass, so ridiculous I still remember to this day how much it sucked, and I only did one Montana in 3 years of installing! Taking apart that dash is almost as ridiculous as taking apart the dash in a Cavalier. GM bites.

I had to replace the shift cable in a new Acadia the other day... 3 hours later, and skinned knuckles on both hands the entire front of the passenger compartment (seats, center counsel, along with most of the dash) was scattered across my second bay at work because the GM site doesn't even know how to take it all apart yet.. Fuck GM. Lol

the acadia is 100% GM not a euro rebadge. built on GM's lambda platform

plus i wouldnt say GM does only rebadging. its more like platform sharing nowadays. everyone does it.
