why does my car do this.

for everyone that does not know, my car has 136k almost 137k on it,it's a 2000 gs (ls).
it only does this when you drive it. any distance,does not matter if you baby it or drive it hard.
it sounds like it's coming from the cat.
btw sorry for poor video quality i don't have a video camera. thanks for any and all help.

does the car still have good power? if the sound is from the cat you may have broken something off in it and its rattling around .. but it sounds kinda on beat... i wouldn't think you'd have any power or a working engine if it was inside the motor

it's not in the motor. the car sill has all it's power. it has done that since i got the car in feb of last year.

no the car runs like new.just once you drive it (warmed up) and shut it off it does that. idk what the hell it is.

yeah. it's coming from under the car like the exhaust or cat.

if for some reason your car is running rich, then maybe the cat gets extreamly hot (like hotter then it normally does) from burning the fuel and possibly causing it to back fire when it shuts down because there is no more exhaust flow to carry the fuel thru the system..

This is all a huge guess btw.
