I'm lost!
Hey guys well I get my license back tuesday and I'm going to the tack(speedworld) saturday
and was wondering if anyone can give my any tips on racing at the track
this will be my first time there racing so what should I do to prep my car
what should I do?
tire pressure, what do I rev to, etc..
I think Ill be able to time the lights but what should I do to help my times?

oh yeah AZ weather right now is nice it rained friday,saturday and a little bit on sunday
and its been really cold so hopefully saturday it'll stay cold and no rain

should i rev to 2.5 or 3k or lower or higher?
how should i leave?
should i just drive around the burnout box? or what
any more tips

I say 4-5k... maybe higher?

Don't go in the burn out box... you don't really have a reason to.. What kind of tires are you using?

yea at least 4.5k revving...i had to rev @ about 5k on my engine to get a good pull the few times i did race it

just dump the clutch. rev around 4500. you should be fine. everyone has their own sweet spot. best way to find where to launch from is practice. as for me, i dump at 7800 on slicks. :)

-rev to 4.5-5k
-drive around the burn out box
-drop the clutch dont "ease it out"
-dont wot at first let wheelhop etc.. wind down then floor it

Wheelhop=bad...if u wot u might get wheel hop..only let it roll for a few feet i guess, then wot it. its kinda confusin to explain. only practice will make it work for you

well reving at 5k then dumping the clutch wont it wheelhop?
anyways ill practice so rev 4.5k drop it but dont wot for a few seconds then wot

if it wheel hops, then slip it a little. it also depends on how well the track is prepared.
