94 front on a 2001 should be cause to have your registration pulled by dmv ... sorry not feeling it at all, the full amber bumper lenses kill it even more

nice wheels though!

Pistons and rods are next on the list, just haven't had the ability for down-time, this car is my daily drver. I thought about the full polish on the wheels, but the black really hides the dirt behind the hub, plus I think it looks good on the black car, thanks for the suggestion though.

i'm a bit confused, i see both the newer and old g3 front ends on it.

it looks nice tho
Lol. I had the original 2001 front, then switched to a 97 w/ a 98-01 lip, "retro-fitted" Actually wasn't hard to fit the lip, I have pics of where I cut and why if anyone is interested.

Sure, basically I trimmed the section in the center that goes into the lower grille part, leaving two tabs to mount the lip, then had to trim about an inch or so off each side, where it meets the inner fender, all of which was determined by test fitting it again and again and again. After fabbing up some brackets to hold it all in place, it was done. The key is to work slow and not trim too much, also I used a genuine poly lip, not cheap plastic or fiberglass. Here is a copy of a post I made on another site:

Well, as some of you know, I swapped my front for the 97 and retro-fit the 98-01 type-r lip to it. I finally got it done and decided to take a few pics. Still needs some paint but I'm still working on the body work.
I started by trimming the part inside the lower grille

And then trimmed the entire middle section, leaving two mounting tabs.

It's not perfect, but with the rubber molding in place, there are no gaps. Plus it's something different. :D
A few of the front

And the whole car. I finally painted and installed the replica sides and rears. I need a professional photographer, any takers?
