alright i just got done flushing my radiator, and i was heading back to my house from my friends. ( where i flushed it). anyway i then got back in my car and was heading to the gas station to get gas. as i pull out on to the road my fucking temp gague spikes, so i pull over to the side of the road. let it cool down. then i make it back home.


my question. why is my motor overheating shortly after i flushed my radiator???

the bleed bolt is in front of the engine near the oil dipstick. its huge cant miss it. while your at it i suggest replacing the thermostat and all hoses to prevent from over heating or something going wrong with your cooling system again. also check your radiator makes sure theres no cracks in it. also when you bleed the block flush your whole radiator again. worse case you have a blown HG.

Ok man its easy, find your upper radiator hose follow it to your motor. There should be like a little nipple type thing , you ever bleed yo brakes before? Well anyways the nipple type thing looks exactly the same. You can't miss it. Also did you remove your thermastat when you flished your system? If not you might of jus fucked up your thermastat. Anyways hope this helps. If you really need a pic I could post up one for you if you still can't locate it.

What is everyone talking about, if your temperature just spiked for a second it's no big deal. it was probablly an air bubble. Relax man, let it go, just drive the car and if anything else happens with it let us know.

hangin out , well that's where your upper radiator hose connects to. Anyways follow the rag lookin right to it you'll see the 12 mm, I think or it might be 10 mm , bolt head facin at an angle out towards you . Its shaped like. a tit man you can't miss it.

ah. you see i finaly found that and as i was geting it off the bolt snapped off. so torrmow i am heading to the junk yard to get a new one. but thank you for your help. i am not that big of a noob i have just hd a very shitty day.
