hello all. i've been over on clubcivic for a couple years as 89slohatch, but some hoe didn't yield to oncoming traffic [me] and now my fourth gen hatch is dead. This is my new baby [ain't she pretty?]:

yeah, i know she's rough but the price was right and all she really needs is a little attention and she'll be aight. and i'm definately glad i got a DA instead of another hatch.
things that came with the car:
injen short ram
horrible apc ghost-flame tipped muffler
ebay "high flow cat" [resonated test pipe]
doodoo brown interior
peeling clear coat
busted ass hubcaps

i'll be doing a good bit of work to her, and i'll keep it posted.

so i'm ballin on a budget, and the upgrades have been kinda minimal, but i still think they make a big difference in the car.

new stuff:
polished the fogs a little
amber corners and signals
lost the hubs, painted the steelies
red painted center caps from my hatch [they need to be repainted]
short shifter and shift knob from the hatch

on to the pics:

You ever think about parting out the hatch, that could bring you some cash for the teg.

thought about it, but there's not much to part out. i've got the shifter and the h caps, and i'll be keeping the recaro copies and the strut braces for the DA. all that's really left is a beat-to-hell-and-back muffler, but there is an spw tach and amber corners i won't be needing. i've already got a quote from a scrapyard for 7 cents per pound, so about 130-140 bucks, and i thought i'd put that away toward a suspension. i'm drooling for some skunk2 coilovers and poly bushings...
