ITR cluster?

Does anyone know how to know witch itr cluster you need? Does it work with the year or the car or the year of the engine?

So if my teg is a 96, I need to get a 96spec itr cluster?

I think this is how it works:

96 Spec ITR cluster- 94-96 models

98 Spec ITR cluster- 97-01 models

yeah the 00-01 have immobilizers so the 96spec wont work on those models.

Pins are different on 94-97 then 98-99 some pins are dfferent on 00-01s also. I dont really deal with G3s as much, so I hope that info is correct.

i tried a 96spec on my 01 and that shit went haywire. all lights lit up and temp and gas needles all went crazy.

I'm trying not to have to switch the back green film thats why i was asking, but If i get the wrong one and i have to change the bach greeb film. Can i use the RS cluster one I have rigth now?

But, from you guys said, seens my teg is a 96 i need a 96spec cluster, even if i swap an 98spec itr engine in it?
