yea its alright though. the s2000 was just as much fun to drive and when i go back im gonna bring a dc2 front clip back at the very least.

heck yes!! im gonna do the motor swap and the RHD swap. if i can im gonna go ITB's cuz it just sounds sick!! ill probably give the body peices to one of my buddies cuz i like the dc4 look and i want kindof a sleeper look too. i just cant wait for the RHD!!!

Oh, and changing the clutch is a pain in the ass on an S2K. And it WILL go out, they are weak

I was just kidding man. LOL

All Eclipses are LHD. They never sold them in Japan. Plus I already have two DSM's anyway.

I am looking for a new 4door though. Find me an Autech R33 GTR or a Nismo 400R Sedan and then we'll be in business!!! :lol:........or else I'm just gonna wait and get an '04 Audi S4



On another note......the weather was so nice all weekend here! I drove the GSX Saturday and Sunday. I did 17 datalogs! LOL I did 5 logs Saturday on 94 octane at 20psi, then Sunday I went and picked up 10 gallons of 100 octane and did some tuning for that map. Me and my friend ended up doing 12 logs on 100 octane at 27psi! Thank god we did get arrested LOL! It's is running like a beast now though. I still wanna do a little more fine tuning. I'm just modifying my previous tune. But it still needs a little work. It is cutting some ignition timing from 3k-4k on the 27psi tune when the boost hits really hard...cuz it was previously tuned to roll into high boost gradually....now it's it's spoolin up to like 25psi at 4k under under serious load. Plus I'm still skeptical about taking brand new cams to 8500 rpms on a consistent basis. Plus it has never been tuned that high. I used to only take it to 8k till I got the 280's and completely built the head

haha i know i was joking too! i think i saw a few eclipses while i was there but im sure that they were brought over by the people who owned them. and im sorry you have two DSM's haha jk!!:) i thought about getting an FTO but they are kinda peices of crap. fun to drive though!!

damn 27psi... makes me want to get out of a honda and into a subie or mitsu... haha

I'm not betting a Subie would take that on a stock bottom end. The EJ series blocks are a semi open deck design. I'm betting that they can't handle that high of cylinder pressures. I am very careful with my tuning though and have my knock sensor set very sensitive to cut boost and retard timing if it knocks. Plus the ECU pulls ignition timing when it starts to creep on the know threshold anyway. I completely forgot about my water injection though while doing these logs so it won't pull timing if I were to use it. I could probably push it a litte further. I may just leave the boost settings on that map alone and just use the injection......maybe a hair more of spark advance if I can get away with it. We'll have to see

Also keep in mind that most DSM's are beat to hell. It is hard to find a mint turbo Eclipse to start with. I bought my 99 GSX brand new. It still only has around 50k miles or so and has been very well taken care of. It was a daily driver for only 3 yrs tops. When my GSR got smashed I bought a used 99 GST for a daily.......it's a hassle sometimes. You never know how the person before you treated the car.....but I guess that goes for any car. Just Eclipses ESPECIALLY! They can be awesome or your worst nightmare
