ok first off, everyone stop telling him what PSI he can and cant run. psi doesnt mean anything. 15 psi on one turbo is not the the same as 15 on another. you need to go by whp.
or CFM, pressure ratio and compressor efficiency :thumbs up

man i am so lost, the mix of all the people saying kinda gets me lost. can someone make me a organized list of turbo auto integra info. lol i read this i am totaly confused on alot of stuff.
As of right now if i get the turbo i realize id have to run low psi 5-6, and eventually get a level10 tc and a tranny cooler. everything with the fuel management and ecu shit is what confuses the shit outta me.

you didnt read anything i just posted about psi did you? seriously, get a manual and boost it, or dont do it. it will cost you a lot less to get a auto to manual conversion than the level 10 tranny, plus manual > auto. for tuning, just get some saturated 550s and be done with fuel injectors and worries. you dont need a fpr, missing link, or anything. get some saturated 550's and buy hondata s200. HAVE YOUR CAR TOWED to a competent tuner. then drive around boosted thinking to yourself "i sure am glad i listened to that guy on clubintegra. he really knew what he was talking about." :D

a manual swap would cost me 1800 dollars thats about half the worth of my car. i bought the car for 3500, i recently painted it and did all body work on it so i might be able to sell for 3000-5000 probally the lower end of that. a manual swap is to much money for me. the tc would only cost me 500$ in like a year when i decide to buy it until then couldnt i run a greddy kit at like 5psi and be safe with my auto.

Your fine running at 8psi as long as you can get it tuned. Don't worry about the tranny. Stock auto's are weak, but will hold out till around 250hp before problems occur. I'm defintaly interested in seeing how your build will turn out. Don't give up, based on what others are going to say.

Damnit I hate these threads, just buy a turbo kit with a reasonable sized turbo and hook it up. If you got the money by a pre-made and tuned greddy or edelbrock kit, or whatever else. I put 3 turbo kits on auto civics and one integra in the last 6 months, they are all fine. They are not going to break, the trannys won't magically blow up, just don't shift the damn things and keep them in drive. Your talking about a whole maybe 200hp max, thats nothing it's not going to matter. Also why are auto turbos gay? I know 2 or three civic turbo kits I installed would spank a type R in the top end. There not going to do good if your going to drag race them, but once they get going they are just as fast if not faster than a manual with a turbo kit.

aussies comment made me feel pretty forward about continuing my turbo purchase. if it doesnt work out hell i guess i could then buy the turbo and eventually sell it for more than i bought it(400$ is really low)

I mean if you just run a small turbo kit it will be fine, you don't need any tranny upgrades, and if the fucking thing blows who cares, then you can make the descision on doing a manual swap or not, you need a tranny, I have 3 laying around, let me know when you blow your auto up but I guarentee it won't happen for a long time. By the way both of the civics had over 100k miles on them and the other had over 150k.
