What is the best suspension upgrade?

But don't just go out and buy the thickest one you can find. Get one that's of a comparable level to your current suspension's "extremeness" (spring stiffness/level of drop). You wanna keep things balanced.
Can you elaborate more on that please. I was thinking about getting a JDM ITR one that is 23mm, then I saw a Cusco one that was 25mm and then Mugen makes 26mm.

I've heard that way too thick of sway bars without having new mount kit could possibly rip the subframe or something along those lines. Keep in mind that I said "I heard...". lol

A thicker rear sway bar will bring the car to a tendency more towards overtsteer at the limit. Almost every stock car is tuned to understeer at the limit for the sake of dumbass drivers. Putting a bigger rear sway bar makes the car more neutrally balanced which increases it's ability to rotate because the ass end is more willing to come around intstead of keeping all the load upfront. A really thick rear sway bar will increase drop throttle and trail braking oversteer dramatically. That can be very beneficial on a tight autoX course to rotate around a tight 180 degree turn but may become ridiculous and sometimes dangerous for a daily driven street car. You want to find a good medium of balance here. Finding the fattest rear bar you can will make your car wanna rotate a whole lot more. Suspension tuning is a black art. Too much can definitely be a bad thing. You wanna find that happy medium. It all kind of depends on what you want to do with your car and how far you want to go with it....just like everything else

I found ITR sway bars at 22 and 23mm. Cusco makes a 25mm and Mugen makes a 26mm. I want my car stiffer to handle better etc. What would I use to compensate for the larger sway bar. Mugen also makes one for the front.

25 and 26 is quite extreeme for a DD car. Id suggest the 23mm one. IDK if you can find any adjustable ones, but thats the best of both worlds. Thats my plan. 24 up front and a 23,25,27 out back. Of course at that size you need to upgrade all your links.

yea a set of sway bar,strut bars upper and lower,control arms
me i have a seat of stock stuts for now at least but stock stuts with tien lowering springs skunk2 control arms , and front upper strut bars my shit is tight no body roll at all. i have been able take turns around bends at about 75+mph with a good set of tires and havent spun out. dont know if this helps but i figured we got the same type of car it should be the same.

Advantage the rear end will become more balanced and reduce understeer.

Disadvantages, Bumpy as a mother! You will feel every little bump in the road. A rough road will make your back hurt. Also very twitchy turning (good on track, not so much on the street)

On the street - A rough road will make u sit almost out of your seat, (kinda like the entrance to where i live - sadly) and some bumps are more/less intolerable at different speeds. Still very drivable on the street but just take more care than regular cars do, that's all.

Yea, but it does take a certain person to ride in it and be able to tollereate daily. LOL, no 26mm sways with pregnant women in the car.

But if you can deal with it those are the only real disadvantages.

What would you suggest on a good daily driven sway bar? ITR 23mm?
