you can do it.. and it's pretty easy... + you won't loose you high beams
My mother bought a USDM honda Element last year... and to bring it back to canada, she had to install day running lights (it's a law..i don't know why)
it cost her 99$ (canadian money) +15% taxes (in quebec) so 115 bucks

unfortunatly.. no! I have some difficulties with electric/electronic install in general.. and since the DRL are original every cars in canada..it is not a subject that i have discussed a lot.. BUT.. i can give you some canadian car forums.. and i'm almost sure that somedoby can answer you
if you want.. you can take a look on www.forums.montrealracing.com in the Tech Info/ Mods / D.I.Y. section, and ask.. most of the people are french. but i would say that 90% of all the people speak english as well..so you won't have any problem
I'm even going to start a new thread about it...right now:lol:.. I hope that someone will be able to tell me what parts are needed!

I wanna do that too, but I think 9005 bulbs are too high for DRL. Is there a way to convert the highs to 9006?

a guy in montreal has a 2 doors civic EK with the EL front end.. i am searching for pix right now..
hum I knew one...but it seems that there is more civic with el front end conversion in MTL than I tough...but personnaly i think that it looks waaaaaaaaaaay better on sedan or coupe than hatchback!
