Nice to see you got out of that Nissan. I'm not a fan of the GA16 anyway. It is lacking a little in every department IMO. I would have let you make it if it was an SE-R though. lol
Me too. Especially since I'm about to go home and fix my GST. That shouldn't be funny to me......oh well, it is. I have one DSM that screws up enough to make up for the fact that my other DSM, the Infiniti and my bike are flawless and never have problems. :roll:

38.3 mpg on my latest tank. Love it. I was running the AC alot less so I was able to improve on the 35.5 I got before.
Well it didn't take long for haters to surface, my car got spit on 9 days after I brought it home.
And the day before that, a rock chipped my windshield on the highway. Not a huge chip, and at least not directly in my line of sight, a few inches above. I know its not uncommon to hear a large pebble/small rock hit your car while on the highway, but how often do you see it coming, see it actually hit the window and see the resulting damage immediatley. That's what happened, I saw the whole thing, it really sucked, lol.

Getting almost 10mpg better than the Sentra did, even with the Sentra having a K&N filter in it, still couldn't always get to 30mpg. I'm sure the big oil leak problem and random severe oil starvation didn't help gas mileage either, lol.
My Teg still gets into the low 30's pretty consistently, which is freakin' great considering all the modding done to it. Synthetic oil helps the mpg a bit too. I won't be using synthetic in the Civic though, I rack up the miles too quickly. I'll just use a high quality conventional, I've already picked up some Valvoline for my first oil change I'll do since I bought the Civ, I'll be doing that on thursday after my wed. night at the track, if it's not raining.

Man....your telling me! Something new was breaking every couple weeks towards the end. And I'd already spent $700 on that damn car in the previous few months on a new starter a new set of tires and an alignment. It was making a scraping noise when I hit the brakes, even though the front pads were new, first in the front, then in the rear too. The front sway bar pass side endlink was trashed because axle grease got all over it, it was making a popping noise when the car turned or hit a bump. CEL was on, bad EVAP solenoid. And there was some additional issue up front with the suspension, it was making other noises. Plus the blown main seal, I was putting a quart of oil in every few hundred miles. Walmart oil, lol. When I got the Civic, I still had a 5 QT jug of Walmart oil unopened, I exchanged it for the Valvoline.
But the AC still cranked, nice and cold. heh

I went to the track with the Civic tonight. I did the before and after between the paper filter and a K&N drop in.
4 runs, best time with the paper filter: 17.15@82.4 2.57 60'
