Exhaust?

the only reason i really wanted to know was because this dude i know that the muffler is from a turbo setup and i needed to change it out to get maximum power and he said he had never heard of that company b4. and i defiantly wanted to get a second opinion

It's not generic crap then, hehe. But it is only 2.25 inches....which is fine if your only doing bolt-on mods to your car. If you plan on doing cams/pistons, TB/IM in the future you'll want to step up to at least a 2.36 in exhaust.
They have no business calling that exhaust JDM for any reason though, they probably just put that in to help sell it because people get all damp when they see "JDM this, JDM that", lol.

and yeah, i defiantly want to do cams and build up the head completely, but i don't want to lose my low end either. but i assume the difference bTw 2.25 and 2.36 is minimal.

Build the engine, then put it on a dyno, first with the 2.25 inch exhaust, then with the 2.36 exhaust, and you'll see a difference. You peak HP and TQ will be at a higher rpm, and will be a bigger HP + TQ# vs. the 2.25 exhaust. Your low end will be fine.

i'm pretty sure it is...but then again no one around here has even heard of that company, let alone has the exhaust. it definatly gave my car a destinct sound. sort of like an all motor wrx or somethin. i mean the canister looks identical to the pics on that site, even the hangers. and that 4.5 in outlet explains why most people's complete canisters will fit into my outlet.

Yeah, I didn't even realize Yonaka made exhausts until I saw your post saying you had an exhaust that said Yonaka on it, so I hopped onto their website and low and behold....

btw, there's no such thing as an all motor WRX, they all have turbo's.:D You mean an Impreza 2.5RS?

acutally i just posted a vid of my in the snow....not to blow my own horn.....lol but you can clearly hear it has a "subaru feel"
