The "black" part is kinda cheesy, but you know just as well as I do that people are going to peel that part of the decal off so it just says "Lightning" :lol:



For whatever reason, people are speculating that it's gonna be a cruiser to go against the Diavel, but what company with the word "Racing" in their name is going to make a cruiser? :rolf :


On top of that, Erik Buell is still the lead designer for the company. And he's always said he's not a cruiser guy... So why would he change his mind now if all he's ever wanted to build were sportbikes? There's enough American cruisers already :lol:

From what the guy was saying, they extended the factory swingarm and kept the oil tank intact.

XB's have a brace on the right side (mine is cracked), so they probably made it as thick as possible since the brace wouldn't fit after the stretch.

Wiped it down with that Meguiars Mirror Bright detailing spray.



And I impulse bought a set of Hikari LEDs from Amazon just to see how well they worked. Didn't really want to go HID, but my Silverstar ZXE's weren't bright enough for me anymore.

A total pain in the dick to put them in too. Not only did I have to pull off the fairing, but the entire headlight assembly had to come off just to get the retaining clips down (H3 bulbs). :lol:





It wasn't totally dark out yet, but they light up pretty good.

HID's would've been cheaper... Didn't wanna deal with all the fucking wiring like I did on the KZ though :rolf:

HID's are too fucking much on a bike. They were wound up in the forks on the fucking F4 which is why I had to remove them :lol:
