I think it might be because buells have a smoother sound to them, sounds high revving as well.

Sad part is, HD still owns the Buell name along with all of Erik's patents. The reason that the 1190s have that stupid ass exhaust instead of the under exhaust like every single Buell had before it is because it was filed under the Buell Motorcycle Company name...

Change it a little.

Ducati is allowed to do it, as well as kawasaki with the er6 and honda with the new cbr650f. Those last two are kind of side exit underbelly, but it's still underbelly none the less.

That looks good, the rest of the bike is just too bland though, too many hard edges and flat surfaces.

Compared to that bike an xb12r looks more modern and sleek.

I'll agree with you though, Firebolts are one of my favorite bikes as far as looks go because they're so different. The RX just looks like everything else out there.
