My brother's obsessed with vrods, he thinks they're "brutally powerful" meanwhile the dyno sheets show them having less power than an RC51 and only like 15-20 more ft-lbs of torque than an XR. :lol:

I like the night rod but the riding position just looks awkward as hell.

Had Harley not decided to take the engine midway through development, it would have weighed 60lbs less and been in the XB.... Which would've most likely put them right with the RC51, even with the power difference.

Ok, here are my babies (yes, I know they are too big to be called that....lol)

This was my 'old' 650F that literally wanted to kill me. It would randomly shut off aka, kill the engine. The first time it happened, I was in the middle of releasing the clutch and bumped started it. Talk about a pucker moment....lol


You could see the 'rod' in the back, but here is a slightly better pic:


And here is one with the gunner and CBR side by side. And yes, I was in the middle of moving....lol


I don't have pics of the busa because I don't like showing it off, so there is no need for me to take a pic of it.Also, the only time I unleash that monster is to remind me what real speed is.

Now I just need to get the piece of shit to run... It can sit for a little longer, the Integra is coming first :rolf:

Do you have any clue as to why it wouldn't start?
What does the integra need?

My original motor on the Kawasaki bent a valve, so I replaced it with one that had a few thousand miles less.

It won't start because of a combination of things: I need to put in new exhaust gaskets in after adding the 2-1 Mac exhaust, figure out the jetting (I converted from dual carbs to a single carb), and timing is probably fucked up too. Haven't had the energy to do it though :lol:


My Integra... I put an "imported JDM" B20 in last January or February, fixed a bunch of broken shit, lowered it and did a bunch of dress up stuff... And then in July the head gasket went after only about 500mi.

I was about to buy a rebuilt B20 from eBay for $1500, but found the Buell instead. So it's time to get back to my car.


Pro tip: Don't buy from JDM Shop USA.

Tuning carbs sounds like a headache I would never want.

Are you going to rebuild or get another engine for the integra?

The carb tuning really isn't so bad. I switched from the stock dual CV carbs (which ARE a pain to tune), to a single Mikuni slide carb. I just couldn't get the fucker dialed in before because my engine was trash.


But I need to get another petcock and some other things first, which I don't wanna fuck with anytime soon. :rolf:

As for the Integra, I found a company on eBay that rebuilds engines. A rebuilt B20 (without a core engine) is 1500 plus 150 for shipping, so that will probably be my best bet.

I don't want to trust the one that's in my car now, it's been a headache since I bought it :lol:

I thought that because these engines are so abundant, the prices would not have been so high.

Can't you get a JDM B18B engine for a little cheaper?

You can get a b20 for like $400, what he's talking about is one that has been fully rebuilt and never started, one that's been built to be sold as a fresh engine.

You fuck... It's not that I'm too lazy to rebuild it myself, it's that if something happens to it fucks up again, I'd be out of money... Again :lol:
