Usually anything with Asus on it that has decent reviews on newegg.

Some of the more high end msi boards are good too.

I'll be looking to get a ASUS Z87 with an i5 4690k processor and a GTX960 graphics card, haven't decided on ram or power supply yet. Is....is that approvable? :mrgreen:

Oh and also some ram won't fit with it the other way.

Just look at mine in the pic above, the ram is almost touching, I can't turn it the other way.



I'm using the 212 as well.

I really like the 212, the sate thing is I can't put my case lid on with the 212 because it sticks out just a hair. But I'll probably drill some holes for the prongs to stick out of

I think mine is a mid-tower, it's about the size of a typical dell or HP desktop

Go for the 970. 960 is pretty good, but the 970 will do pretty much whatever you need it to. And also get a 4gb card, if you don't YOU WILL regret it, no question about it.

As for ram, G.Skill sniper/ripjaws 1866. It's priced well and it gets the job done.

And as far as psu's, I'd stay away from corsair, their shit is getting cheap and unreliable as hell these days. :/
