14s dont clear ls brakes unless you grind the caliper or run a spacer...but you cant really run a spacer without extended studs.

That makes more sense. The HX spokes kinda curve inwards and the webs are flat.
I still think his wheels are early Type R's though. They still wouldn't fit, but he said they were 15s :what:

Mine came with the 15" meshies originally. I'll do a test fit on the vehicle before I go anywhere else with these. Worst case I can sell them.

spoke design and offset make a difference, also the civic has smaller front calipers
if they are the jdm 4 lug r wheels...no one wants them. No one does a 4x114 swap.

I was able to test fit the wheel, seems to fit alright. Plenty of space between it and the caliper. hups didn't test on the the front. I'll have to double check in the front later on

if it fits in the back its 4x100. If its stamped enkei in the barrel its an hx wheel. it will not clear the front
