I'm actually 250 miles from Road Atlanta but my car needs serious work before I would even be allowed to run there.

Pretty much. At one point, many years ago, we quit doing it due to lack of interest. I got it going again about 7 or 8 years ago and it had strong participation thoughout most of the years. Now it's fading back again, about to the point of being killed off unless people start participating. We get some entries, but the voting is pathetic. We used to average 50-60 votes and get enough contestants each month to warrant having semi and final rounds.
