hope you dont have the same problem i did. I gave up seconds on track because of it. Was running a 2:07 pace at buttonwillow and then it dropped to 208.9 or something because i couldnt get it into 3rd.

That's pretty bad, have you opened the transmission and checked the syncro's and selectors?

Hopefully I don't run into any issues.

Looks like I made a decision about the propulsion, the GSR is getting rebuilt. New Denso O2 and OE valve seals are in. Need to order the rest of the parts ie. oil pump, water pump, timing belt, etc.

Went and did my ricer mod, looks a lot like a EK9 Mugen cluster.








Old original head I'll be rebuilding, because I'm a little skeptical about the one other one.

Thanks guys, looked at it this morning and still happy with the bezel. Head Rebuild isn't going to be that bad, ill probably get it hot tanked and resurfaced. Wish me luck though. :smileyR:

Not sure is you're talking about me doing the complete interior stainless steel, but the cluster is as far as it goes. I just always liked the Mugen clusters but couldn't afford the price tag.

No not the entire the interior. Just the gauge cluster, I would think that some reflection in the interior would make some real bad glare.

Don't worry it's just the cluster.

Got some goodies in the mail, Honda OE P72 Water Pump/Timing Belt and Pillow Mount Hats. Have more one the way too.




Started to take the head apart but snapped bolt is holding me back because I can't find my cordless drill, SMH.
