Hey guys! It's been a while since I've posted a thread on here. I'm tasked to baby sit my friend's ITR while he's on vacation for 2 weeks. It's his Daily Driver here in Hawaii. With that being said, the car was poorly maintained regardless if it is a real R. Keep the s*** talking off the keyboard and watch me help a homie out!

Photo's from a year ago ->

Now ->
The first thing I noticed when driving the car was that it was idling at 100 RPM and dying out. I noticed the throttle cable was lose so I adjusted it. It was still dying out so I cleaned the IACV. Good thing I did that because it was super dirty. :roll:

I figured it would be a good idea to check and clean the Air Filter...

Wtf?!

Took the Supra to get parts for the Type R :lol:

Cleaned the Throttle Body,

(For all you OG's ^ That's Finley AKA "SPNFED" 8) )

The driver side door was sagging low so we adjusted it,

Trouble shooting the CEL,

Vtec oil pressure and TPS were issues but the owner is switching to ITB's so these don't matter right now.

Sick!

About time we had a legit thread!

First time I've had difficulty deciding which car I like better when a supra was involved. :lol:

I bought some TE37's. Yes. I bought wheels for a car I don't own. I don't care. :rolf: When I bought them, the add said 45 wall series... they came with 55's So I have slight rubbing issues. :(

So can I just give you my car for a couple of years when you're done with this one and maybe you could do a few things to it for me? :mrgreen:
